In order to establish scientific interaction and international collaboration among scientists, industry owners, and entrepreneurs in various fields of medicine and engineering, the first International Congress on Advanced Technologies in Health, in collaboration with Sharif International Campus, Sharif University of Technology, and Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, was held virtually on the 7th and 8th of Dey, 1400 (December 2021).
The main approach of this congress has been to introduce the capacities and applications of artificial intelligence technology for mapping the roadmap to achieve sustainable development goals in the field of innovative health technologies in the country, through scientific interaction among active researchers in various national and international levels. The congress has focused on the following topics in order to achieve these goals: signal and image processing in medicine, big data management in health technologies, applications of Internet of Things (IoT) in health technologies, ethical and legal issues in the use of artificial intelligence technologies in medicine, applications of artificial intelligence in neuroscience, and applications of bioinformatics in health technologies. During the congress, selected papers submitted to the secretariat were presented, and participants benefited from various practical workshops.
