The first edition of the Student Robotic Competition (KRC2019)

The first edition of the International Student Robotic Competition for foreign students residing in Iran was held over 3 days from 2nd to 4th of Azar 98 (November 23-25, 2019) at the Kish International Campus of Sharif University of Technology.


 

In this edition of the competition, 14 teams from 14 countries participated with a total of 51 participants and coaches, organized in teams of 3 members each. The participating teams were from international schools of Pakistan, India, Hungary, Manjil International School (SAVIOR) in Qom, Half Day School (for deaf students), as well as from countries such as Australia, Azerbaijan, England, Croatia, France, Greece, India, Japan, Pakistan, Romania, Tanzania, Ukraine, the United States, and one team from Iran.


 

At the end of the competition, Osina School, with the RoboDoctors team, stood on the first place podium, winning the gold medal. SAVIOR School in Qom and RoboSpinners team from the International School of Pakistan secured the second and third positions in the competition, respectively.
