Sharif University of Technology Wins First Place at the 46th Iranian Mathematical Society Student Competition

The mathematics team from Sharif University of Technology, led by Dr. Amir Jafari, earned first place in the 46th Student Mathematics Competition organized by the Iranian Mathematical Society.

This year’s competition was held from April 30 to May 3, 2024, at the University of Tabriz. The following students from Sharif University achieved outstanding results:

  • Amir Abbas Mohammadi (Rank 1 – Dept. of Mathematical Sciences) – Gold Medal
  • Arian Hemmati (Rank 4 – Dept. of Mathematical Sciences) – Gold Medal
  • Mehran Talaei Khajeh Roshanai (Rank 5 – Dept. of Computer Engineering & Dept. of Mathematical Sciences) – Gold Medal
  • Mohammad Ghavi (Joint Rank 7 – Dept. of Mathematical Sciences) – Gold Medal
  • Matin Yousefi (Rank 8 – Dept. of Mathematical Sciences) – Silver Medal
