Master's degree student admission in the form of an industry scholarship

Industry Scholarship

The Industry Scholarship is designed to strengthen the connection between academia and industry. This scholarship provides financial support to students, enabling them to focus on enhancing their academic and professional knowledge during their studies, while also securing their future careers through employment commitments.

The Industry Scholarship offers companies an opportunity to attract top talents with high-quality education. Furthermore, through this program, current challenges or projects within companies can be addressed as students' thesis topics, creating opportunities for problem-solving and collaboration.

Facilities provided to scholarship students by Sotoon Company

  1. Payment of scholarship (about 13.5 million Tomans per month, which may increase due to annual inflation.)
  2. Payment of salaries and benefits (in addition to scholarship) if the student works at Sotoon Company, based on the level of cooperation and level of expertise, in the form of a bilateral agreement
  3. Health insurance from the beginning of the second semester
  4. Payment of tuition fees for the student's studies
  5. Social security insurance in proportion to the student's attendance at Sotoon Company
  6. Possibility of completing military service at Sotoon Company for male students

  • Explanation: Given that Sotoon Company is knowledge-based, a specific capacity is announced annually by the relevant institutions for military quotas ("Amriya" and "Alternative Service Project"). Each year, a number of Seton members, including scholarship students, can use these options based on priority and the number of applicants. If the scholarship student is not subject to the military quota, the student's two-year commitment to Seton will be implemented after completing the military service period.

Student Selection Process

Student selection is carried out in a two-stage process:

  1. Based on the results of the Master's degree entrance exam in Computer Engineering, three times the capacity of the students applying for the Sotoon Company Scholarship in each of the Secure Computing/Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, and Computer Systems Architecture majors will be introduced to the Sharif School of Computer Engineering and Seton Company for an industry scholarship.
  2. An interview is conducted with representatives from the School of Computer Engineering and Seton Company, and after that, the final list of accepted candidates is announced.
